Why do we begin the call to prayer by Allah Akbar (Allah is the greatest)?

Have you ever asked yourself about that?

Why is it Allah Akbar and not another word?

Like: Sobhan Allah
The secret lies in this verse




Allah said:




" يا أيها الذين آمنوا إذا نودي للصلاة من يوم الجمعة




فاسعوا إلى ذكر الله وذروا البيع ذلكم خير لكم إن كنتم تعلمون "

The reason for choosing such word is not only to alert the ones who heard it but also to let the others < who are busy , to pay attention that Allah is the greatest and the prayers are greater than any thing that you are doing at the time of prayer

Whatever you are doing Allah’s command is greater than it
If u r selling, buying, driving………………………………
Therefore those words, Allah is the greatest are the best words you may utter
