Unlike other religions, worship in Islam has a broad sense. In Islam, the purpose of creation is to worship Allah. Allah The Almighty Says in the Qur'an (what means): {And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me (Alone).}[Ath-Thariyaat verse no. 56]. Accordingly, all our acts should be done out of worshiping Allah The Almighty. Islam is a comprehensive way of life which covers all fields of life: religious, social, economic, politic aspects, etc. Worship in Islam is not confined only to prayers and places of worship like other religions. Rather, it includes dealings, behaviors, etc. that the Muslim should do every act to please Allah The Almighty. Some righteous people used to say a good habit plus an intention equals an act of worship. In other words, if a person used to help people and has an intention that he should do so to please Allah; then, his act is considered an act of worship. Even smiling with a good intention to the fellow Muslim is considered as a good, rewardable deed in Islam. The concept of worship goes far to include the marital relation between the husband and his wife. Hence, the true Muslim should follow all the teachings of Islam in every act of his life. There is no good deed unless Allah and His Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, guided us to do. There is no bad deed unless Allah and His Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade us from doing it. It should be taken into consideration that any act of worship should meet two conditions to be accepted: sincerity and conformity to Qur'an and Sunnah.
